Julie Greene began working for the Town of Southampton in 2017 as the Town Historian. In 2021, she joined the staff full-time, overseeing the restoration of the Town’s many historic and landmarked properties for the Community Preservation Department. Julie actively promotes and preserves Southampton's history in all its variety, giving presentations and talks and leading tours for the public through local libraries and historical societies. Julie is also the curator for the Quogue Historical Society and a member of the Association of Public Historians of New York State. She is the author…
